Hi.
I am Steph.
“About” pages are a bit strange to me. I know I need to say something, but it slightly feels like a really awkward introduction for which I am not able to see the other person. That being said, I press on.
I am a wife. I am a mother (to the cutest boy ever!). I am a teacher. I am self-titled, lifelong learner. I am a cook and a baker. I am a loyal friend. And most importantly, I am a mess-of-a-women who is deeply loved, cherished, and identified by the One who intricately created her. I am a disciple of Jesus.
This blog is my attempt to begin to use the words, ideas, thinkings God has placed inside of me to continue to grow and deepen my own journey…and in some small way, my prayer is these words resonate in the heart of other women who are as broken as I.
I am passionate about the Holy Spirit. I am passionate about the power, purpose, and movement of the Holy Spirit to bring hope and freedom. I believe the words in Galatians 5:1, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”, are not just words.
Fear and anxiety paralyze me at times.
But I know the One who sets me free.
This blog is an attempt at transparency on that journey…growing freedom, anchored identity, strength in brokenness, beauty in vulnerability.
Join me. It’d be fun to laugh at myself with others around. 🙂
